Chef, Lola Merla, and Owner, Tina Skorey opened up Merla’s Kitchen in 2009 in the North Park neighborhood of Chicago. Merla’s Kitchen aims to share the cuisine of the Philippines to our community, bringing smiles and creating memories along the way. The restaurant is well known for its signature empanadas and its plethora of delicious, homemade dishes on its menu.

Both dining rooms are open for dine-in seating. Come relax amongst the plants from our partner business next door, Tea Rose Flower Shop, sit by the fire with your family to warm up with some adobo and lumpia, or enjoy a large dinner party in our cozy red main room that’ll make you feel at home.
